About Me
My love of photography began on my 18th birthday when I received an Olympus OM10 35mm SLR camera from my parents. This camera remained with me through thick and thin but as I got older, married, had kids, the cost of developing the film got too much and I started to loose interest. The digital age changed all that and opened doors I previously had never thought possible.
I bought my first digital SLR camera, Olympus obviously, and my passion was back. The birth of my gorgeous grandaughter was a turning point, the shutter frenzy had begun!! But not happy with my flash, I bought portable studio lighting, then came backgrounds and more gadgets that you can shake a stick at. My knowledge increased due to the small library of books I bought from Amazon, my images improved and I realised that with the correct equipment, an open mind and imagination I could achieve the standard of images I had previously only dreamt of.
I have always been interested in Martial Arts and other combat sports and I'm able to combine the two hobbies. Portraits of fighters followed, many taken at a state of the art boxing club locally. I am committed to providing fighters with professionally taken images to compliment their dedication to their chosen art. I have had my images published in "Martial Arts Illustraited", " Fighters" and "Health For Men"
I now photograph weddings. Using the latest and best quality Olympus equipment to take top quality images of the happy couple on their Big Day. I have found that my skills are constantly evolving and there has never been a more exciting and challenging time to be a photographer...and its not a bad time to be a customer either!!!
